Beginnings

I was raised in Maryborough, Queensland Australia in the depression years of the 1930's. My family farmed cattle and sugar cane on the banks of the beautiful Mary River.

Career

I was employed at the Burnie Paper Mill and it was there that I met my future husband, Kenneth Anthony Lohrey. Soon after we married we moved to Ipswich following employment.  The children came along quickly from 1959 onwards. Eight in total!  Tony, Paul, Gerard, Christine, Virgil, Bernadette, Peter and Michael.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy spending time at the Church of the Little Flower on Bribie Island. I have a wonderful network of friends on the island and thank them all for the great support they provide.

Goals

To watch my array of grandchildren grow and prosper.
